One of our activities is to capture the evolving knowledge of crafting techniques from artisans in Cairo. On the one hand, we aim to document this knowledge which is at risk of being lost while making it available widely to raise awareness on the skill, artistry and creativity displayed by artisans when making their products.
We currently have documented the following techniques:
- Production of wooden inlay decorative piece with modern technique: previous visualisation and new visualisation.
- Production of wooden inlay decorative pieces with traditional techniques: previous visualisation and new visualisation.
